Em 4 de agosto, o Amon Amarth fez um show surpresa no famoso festival alemão Wacken Open Air. Sob o nome de Guardians of Asgaard, a banda tocou um pequeno set com sons como The Pursuit of Vikings, Twilight of the Thunder God e as novatas The Great Heathen Army e Get in the Ring.
